Holiday House Decorating Contest
Due to difficult economic times that some of our residents are experiencing, the Allendale/Waldwick Policeman’s Benevolent Association, Local #217, has decided not conduct the 2009 Holiday House Decorating Contest. In lieu of the contest the PBA will be financially assisting those local families in need. In addition to helping our local residents the PBA will be donating over 100 fully cooked Hams to the Center for Food Action in Mahwah. The Center will distribute the food to families in need this holiday season. If you know of a local family in need you can email Det. Sgt. Kevin Smith at Ksmith@Waldwicknj.Org, and the PBA will look into assisting in any way possible. The Allendale/Waldwick PBA would like extend their best wishes to everyone during this Holiday Season and the upcoming New Year.
With the generous assistance of the Allendale A&P Supermarket, the Allendale/Waldwick Policeman’s Benevolent Association, Local #217, donated twenty-six (26) fully cooked Hams to the Center for Food Action in Mahwah. The Center distributed the food to families in need this past holiday season. The Allendale/Waldwick PBA would like to extend its gratitude to A&P Manager Michael Buck for his assistance in making this important donation.
